OLD SKOOL SKATE SWAP

Vans and Reserve Supply Company hosted the first annual Old Skool Skate Swap recently at Reserve. Instead of skate and destroy it was a bit more hang and enjoy. Bloody Mary's, Michelada's and waffles of course. Everyone in attendance rolled down memory lane while skateboardings heritage was dusted off and a bit of archived history saw the light of day. The old folks showed the skate rats what once was and there was a sincere appreciation for those that paved the way. There were boards sold and some traded. Viewers sifted through old magazines, stickers and videos reflecting on the history, progression, and past pros. Even very pristine collectibles that were thought to be long gone got snatched up. We look forward to hosting another Old Skool Skate Swap in the spring. If you missed this one track down those old boards and skate artifacts that have been stashed away in the attic and deepest corners of the garage and we will see you in the spring at Old Skool Skate Swap II.
