HOLIDAY BIKE NIGHT RECAP

On November 16 we held our Fall Bike Night and asked that people bring one food item for a holiday food drive. As usual the community behind the store surpassed expectation and rode out with cans bungee corded to seats and cases of food that required multiple trips to the car. The line of bikes out front signaled to people passing by that a special gathering was occurring and many that stopped by were first-timers here in the shop. Jean Paul spun records in the back while people caught up and swapped recent projects or endeavors before the busy holiday season takes hold and were able to just relax and enjoy the familiar scene that takes place here. We donated all of the food collected the following week to SEARCH Homeless Services Center and they, like us, could not be more appreciative for everyone that came out and participated. Happy Holiday Season and we look forward to the next one.
