Tellason Turns 10

Tony Patella and Pete Searson established Tellason in 2008 when economic times were tough and starting a new business venture was an even riskier move than it already is. They set out to build a pair of jeans that would hold up, that could be worked and last. Overseas production was never in the cards because they wanted to be as hands on as possible and be in on every step of the process. Their first output was a limited run of just 240 pairs that first shipped in 2009. They used the bastion of Americana that was the White Oak Mill to produce the selvage denim for their construction and finished each jean with a stamped leather patch from Tanner Goods in Portland, Oregon. Their logo was a conception of House Industries, the type and design titan based just a few states north of White Oak. It is apparent that the devil is in the details for Tony and Pete.

2019 marks the ten year anniversary for Tellason and when Reserve Supply Company first opened its doors in 2011 we were proud to have stocked two of their styles, the Ankara and their Mellor, for our first customers that started trickling in. In the past 8 years we have expanded the Tellason selection and it is an uncontested staple of the shop. We consider ourselves lucky to have grown with them and be able to say they were with us at the start.
