BIKE NIGHT RECAP

No breakdowns, no road rash, just knees in the breeze. The weather was cool for a change and everyone enjoyed the party. Homer Saenz of 713 Tattoo created a couple of masterpieces, when he took his tattoo gun out and started work on a pair of 9111 Red Wing Heritage boots. Thanks to Reverberation for keeping the funk, soul, and rock and roll spinning throughout the night. If these bike nights  continue to grow like they have been it will be a festival before long. We had a hoot, and can't wait to see who rides what next time.

BIKE NIGHT

We saw some race faces captured by Smilebooth and resident photog Max Burkhalter and crash tested some of the new Bullitt and Custom 500 helmets by Bell. The helmets worked, because no one got hurt and everyone had a good time. As if that was not exciting enough we all gathered around to witness the ocular spectacle by Deus and Raen Optics, "I had too much to dream last night."

The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show

The folks over at Revival Cycles, Circuit Of The Americas, and Moto Guzzi put together an incredible showcase of vintage, and custom vintage motorcycles. The show combined design, art, music, and motorcycles. The Handbuilt Show was open throughout the weekend of the second annual Moto GP race in Austin, Texas and was free to the public. There was so much in store for spectators we visited twice over the weekend to soak it all in, made sure we did not miss anything and took a second look at the show stoppers.

As if all of the bikes, art and music were not enough, there was The Wall of Death performing free every hour, (blog post coming soon) and a vintage motorcycle jacket exhibit. We clicked a few photos while we were there. We hope you enjoy the small taste of The Handbuilt Show last weekend in Austin, Texas.
