Hydrocephalus Bike Night

EVENT DETAILS (WINNERS LISTED BELOW WITH PRIZES)

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser far and near. What a huge success! Together we raised $5,000. 100% of the money raised will go to the Hydrocephalus Association (HA). We couldn’t have done it without you and the gracious donations from Schott NYC, Rev’It, Tellason, Bell Helmets, Biltwell Inc., Topo Designs, Vans, Red Wing Heritage, Patagonia, The James Brand, and Triumph. We’d also like to thank the Luxurious Panthers for the tunes and Betelgeuse for serving up pizza.

Saturday, October 14th we will host our fall bike night from 6pm-9pm here at 2205 Washington Ave. All makes and models are welcome. Bike or no bike we hope you join us to enjoy the sights, sounds, and rich flavors abound. The Luxurious Panthers will be performing their original tunes live and Gold Tooth Tony's will be serving up tasty bites all night.

With the help of Tellason, Rev'It, Patagonia, Vans, Bell Helmets, Red Wing, Topo Designs, Biltwell, The James Brand, and Schott NYC we will hold a raffle benefiting the Hydrocephalus Association (HA).

Hydrocephalus is a complex, life-threatening condition marked by excess accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) on the brain and affects both of my kids, Kai and Ryder. The only treatment involves brain surgery - most often inserting a medical device called a shunt to drain the excess fluid. Out of the 29 surgeries Kai and Ryder have had 18 have been hydrocephalus related. Ryder has had 17 of those surgeries and has two VP shunts to manage his hydrocephalus.

Founded in 1983 to provide support for families living with the challenges of hydrocephalus, the HA has become the nation’s largest and most respected organization devoted exclusively to hydrocephalus. Since 2009, HA has turned its research investment of $13 million into $50+ million in additional research, becoming the largest non-profit, non-governmental funder of hydrocephalus research in the U.S. The HA is making progress along many promising paths toward better treatment options and a cure - for those living with hydrocephalus and those who love them, HA is the best hope for finding a cure.

The Hydrocephalus Association is very important to us and that is why we are dedicating the next Bike Night to them. Tickets may be purchased online or in-store and you do not have to be present to win. Visit the ticket sales page of our site for more details.
