The folks over at Revival Cycles, Circuit Of The Americas, and Moto Guzzi put together an incredible showcase of vintage, and custom vintage motorcycles. The show combined design, art, music, and motorcycles. The Handbuilt Show was open throughout the weekend of the second annual Moto GP race in Austin, Texas and was free to the public. There was so much in store for spectators we visited twice over the weekend to soak it all in, made sure we did not miss anything and took a second look at the show stoppers. 

As if all of the bikes, art and music were not enough, there was The Wall of Death performing free every hour, (blog post coming soon) and a vintage motorcycle jacket exhibit. We clicked a few photos while we were there. We hope you enjoy the small taste of The Handbuilt Show last weekend in Austin, Texas.

We are honored to have worked so closely with Dickie’s 1922 on our first collaborative pant for Reserve Supply Company. It only seems fitting that the pant was delivered and available for sale on our third anniversary. It is hard to believe it has already been three years, but this pant is definitely a milestone of accomplishment.

This show will be talked about long after the dust settles in New Braunfels. First off they will be giving away a 1955 panhead. Second they will have some of the most talented builders in attendance with their builds. It will be a sight to be hold, rest assured. A friend of Reserve stopped by the store on this custom RD before he bid it farewell on Ebay. This 1974 yamaha RD 250 has been transformed into a monoshocked RD wearing a tank and tail from a 71Benelli 750cc road racer, while the fairing is from a ’69 Benelli 350-4.

We are huge fans of Carlos Hernandez's work. We are honored to have Carlos Hernandez of Burning Bones Press design and print these limited hand screened posters for Reserve Supply Company.

Reserve Supply Company ambassador Brad Barber is responsible for the functional sculpture that has been in the window of the store for the past month. What started as a stock 1982 Honda CB750 before Brad got a hold of it, ended as a speedy work of art.

Reserve Supply Company held its fall bike night Saturday October 12th and had special guests on hand from Roland Sands Design to showcase the RSD line. Racer 5 IPA beers from Southern Star Brewing were poured, the music was turned up, the rain stopped, and a good time was had by all.

Join us the evening of October 12th and witness the epitome of man and machine. All makes and models are welcome. Roland Sands Design will be showcasing their riding jackets and wares. A special motorcycle will be featured in the Reserve Supply Company show room, and hundred or so will litter the block and parking lot.

Reserve Supply Company would like to welcome the barber's of Cutthroat barber shop to the block. The classic men's barbershop will be offering men's haircuts, straight razor shaves, and more. This block on Washington Avenue has become quite the destination.
