Fall Bike Night 2018 Recap

Bike night last Saturday was a success as usual because of the crowd that showed out and the enthusiasm they rode up with. Here's a recap along with more pictures from the evening. Many thanks to everyone that came out!

The Uniform

No matter the season and no matter the temperature, there are two articles of clothing that can be constantly thrown into the casual rotation: hats and t-shirts. They're solid options in summer when you are trying to keep only the basics on and can be layered once the cooler months hit, but a lot can go wrong with a lot of options. As the old skate boards of his career began to collect in his garage he wanted to make something out of them instead of throwing them out to be put into a landfill somewhere. MACHINES OF METTLE: REVIVAL CYCLE'S HANDBUILT SHOW

People attend the Handbuilt Motorcycle because it is an exhibition of design and function  in harmony with a personal perspective. There were around 140 custom motorcycles on display this year, built by craftsmen and enthusiasts from around the globe.

RODEO LIFERS

The Angola Prison Rodeo is a mix of bulls, armed guards, prison bands and families and has been dubbed "The Wildest Show in the South."

 

SAME COURSE, NEW CROWD

We brought in some wares exclusively for women. Products from brands we love like Railcar Fine Goods, Levi's, Schott NYC, and Red Wings Heritage.

If you've never seen the work of House Industries, well you have. They have collaborated with Tellason, the Estate of Charles and Ray Eames, The Henry Ford Museum, and John Mayer to name a few. What started as two guys creating fonts has become a design power House in the past 25 years.
